The purpose is to gather dancers from the host country as well as from all European countries. Each competition includes a regular segment in which dancers compete for first, second, and third place with the awarding of medals, trophies, and diplomas. At the end of the competition, a Gala (Best of the Best) is held in which the top 20 dance choreographies are selected, with the top three receiving cash prizes.
